We’re so excited – first, Food & Home agrees to present this event to benefit us, and then we learn that Scott Leibfried of Food Network fame has agreed to judge the chowder competition. Dozens of local restaurants, certainly all my favorites will be there serving their version of their most impressive chowder; clam, veg, corn, fish or otherwise.
We couldn’t have a better venue than Montecito Country Club who have been so accomodating and gracious for their support.
Our goal is to brand ‘Santa Barbara Clam Chowder’ – our chefs are amongst the best in the nation – move over New England and Manhattan Clam Chowders, here comes Santa Barbara’s very own version!
